Orca™, Newman Sanitary Gasket’s Encapsulated Gasket is made from our proprietary 2107 EPDM that has been chemically bonded to a thin layer of PTFE, encapsulating the EPDM. As a PTFE encapsulated gasket manufacturer, this combination of materials gives the gasket the chemical resistance of PTFE while greatly reducing the traditional problems associated with PTFE/Teflon® hygienic seals.
